The article is dedicated to the problem of introducing preschoolers to the national culture and solving cultural, educational, spiritual and moral problems. The article examines the pedagogical conditions for familiarizing children with folk culture in the process of familiarizing themselves with the works of Mordovian children’s folklore. The article reveals the possibilities of works of oral folk art in solving the problem of ethnocultural education of preschoolers.
