The article deals with conspiracy texts that were used by vepsian in the treatment of a snakebite. They differ in their structure from most of the medical conspiracies, in which the influence of the russian tradition is visible, and are probably more ancient forms of the genre. They highlight the appeal to the source of the disease, as well as the threat or demand to take away the pain. There are two types of references: 1) using allegorical naming; 2) listing different types of snakes.
