Volost of Tulmozero is an example of the folding of the ethnic group of Livvi Karelians and the folding of the dialect of Tulmozero of Karelian language. The method of statistical tabular analysis of mass data of the Third revision of 1763 reveals the mechanism of the formation of stable marital connections in the volost and its role in the ethnological consolidation of habitans of the Lake Tulmozero territory and the impact on the ethnic formation of neighbors – Livvi Karelians of Vedlozero and Livvi Karelians of the Northern Ladoga region. It is shown how ethnocultural and linguistic characteristics, traits and peculiarities of Livvi Karelians from the eastern volosts of Olonets to the West volosts of Olonets and North Ladoga took place through marriage relations.
